Gardein Meatless Meatballs in Sauce
4 bags Gardein Meatless balls (50 oz total) |
6 oz can organic tomato paste |
14 oz can organic diced or crushed tomatoes |
1 jar spicy organic marinara sauce |
1.5 cups water |
4 yellow or red onions, cut in strips |
4 cloves garlic, pressed or finely chopped |
1 tablespoon organic olive oil |
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes |
1 teaspoon black pepper |
1 bay leaf optional |
Mama Bears Spicy Vegan Meatballs in Sauce Directions
- Fry onions and garlic in olive oil until golden brown. Add frozen meatballs to mixture and fry until browned (the browner the more savory they get). Then add remaining ingredients and simmer for 40 minutes. Add to a crock pot to keep warm.
